SHREK THE MUSICAL tells the story of a swamp-dwelling ogre who goes on a life-changing adventure to reclaim the deed to his land. Joined by a wise-cracking donkey, this unlikely hero fights a fearsome dragon, rescues a feisty princess and learns that real friendship and true love aren’t only found in fairy tales.

In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseemly ogre – not a handsome prince – shows up to rescue a feisty princess. Throw in a donkey who won’t shut up, a bad guy with a SHORT temper, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Details about this contest:

Coming to the Music Hall between May 26th and June 27th? Take a picture with Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and Lord Farquaad in our lobby, post it to the DSM Facebook page, and be eligible to win 4 tickets to Opening Night of SHREK THE MUSICAL on September 28th! Here's what to do:

1. Visitors to the Music Hall can participate
2. The contest will begin on May 26, 2010 (first performance of WICKED) and end on June 28, 2010 at 5pm (Monday after WICKED is over).
3. How to win: take a picture of yourself and whoever else. Post your Cut-Out picture on the DSM Facebook page. The poster (person who puts the picture on the Facebook page) will be entered to win. Best picture wins!
4. Winner will be picked based on creativity to make the picture unique.
5. Winner’s picture will be posted on DSM Social Media and Website
6. Winner will receive 4 tickets to Opening Night, September 28, 2010 at 8:00 pm, and tickets will be put in Will Call under winner’s name.
