DESCRIPTION

THE RAT PACK – Live at the Sands is the hottest and coolest party in town. THE RAT PACK - Live at the Sands (which is known outside of North America as The Rat Pack - Live from Las Vegas) first appeared at The Beck Theatre in Hayes, England in January of 2000. That engagement was followed by three years of touring, including its premiere in London at the Peacock Theatre. The Evening Standard raved: "Two-and-a half hours of vintage entertainment guaranteed," and the producers knew the show was a West End hit in the making! The show opened at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket in March of 2002 to more rave reviews and sold-out audiences. It transferred to London's Strand Theatre where it broke box office records with the highest-ever advance sales in one day and then moved yet again in the summer of 2005 just down the road to the Savoy Theatre (right next door to the hotel that Frank Sinatra himself favored in his later years).

This spectacular production celebrates the incredible singing talent of three world-famous entertainers and performers and some of the finest music and song that has ever been recorded. Back when the famous rubbed shoulders with the politicians and partied hard, Frank, Sammy & Dean, all singing, all dancing, all round entertainers, injected not only their songs into the 50s and 60s, but a lifestyle that everyone wanted: Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Dean Martin. It’s Las Vegas, it’s the Sands Hotel, the big band is swingin’, and those gorgeous Burelli Sisters are singin’, and of course the three wisecracking hip-cats bring their inimitable magic to the finest music ever recorded: ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’; ‘That’s Amore’; ‘Mr. Bojangles’; ‘The Lady Is A Tramp.’ You won’t find anything like it anywhere else. It’s the Rat Pack – and it’s live! Ring-a-ding-ding!

Legends of the 20th Century, idols of the music industry, superstars of the movies, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jnr and Dean Martin are above all renowned worldwide for their talented voices. Their unique contribution to 20th Century popular music is second to none.
