About the Associate Producers

Associate Producers is a dynamic group of young professionals interested in learning about musical theatre, networking with peers, and supporting the arts. The auxiliary seeks to make the Dallas Summer Musicals, presented by Comerica Bank, ("DSM") a part of the culture of Dallas for young adults, creating a sustainable audience base by which the future of the DSM may gain support. In addition, Associate Producers is a platform for grooming members for future leadership roles on DSM’s Board of Directors.

Associate Producers’ membership currently sits near 200 and is growing each year. The group is governed by its own board that develops unique events and activities that educate, entertain, and keep the program thriving.

Membership benefits include:

• Invitation to attend all Associate Producers events and opportunity to network with AP members *Annual Membership Event, Pre-Show Events (2-3 per year), Networking Event & Holiday Party
  
  
• Discounted tickets for shows on Associate Producers group nights with preferred block seating
  
  *Orchestra or Balcony depending on price and availability
  *Season ticket holders have the option to exchange their tickets for Associate Producers’ group nights.
• Special deals on tickets as available
• Backstage tour of the Music Hall at Fair Park
• 10% discount on all purchases from the DSM store
• Subscription to eNotes for exclusive updates on shows and ticket discounts

Membership is an annual commitment. There are two (2) options for membership with corresponding annual dues assessments and conditions as follows:

1) SINGLE MEMBERSHIP: $50.00
2) COUPLE MEMBERSHIP: $80.00

The membership year runs from March through the following February. Members are encouraged to buy show tickets on all designated Associate Producers group nights in order to enjoy discounted ticket prices and our signature Pre-Shows Events.
